    The company was incorporated in Delaware in 1919.

    The company had a fleet of vessels between Philadelphia and Boston on the East Coast and along Pacific ports on the West Coast. Freight was loaded and unloaded in Philadelphia onto ships from railcars on two tracks leading into the facility from the Philadelphia Belt Line Railroad on Delaware Avenue.The company also had an office in Boston.
