INDIANA SOUVENIR CHINA-Court House W / Tree Growing In Tower-Greensboro-c1910
Offered is a selection consisting of one vintage Indiana Souvenir China plate .The lot includes:
1)—A 6 1/8" wide, full painted face plate with a gold band  on edge, the colored center scene features an early Gothic clock tower with the caption reading "Court House Tower With Maple Tree-Greensboro, Ind.". Back mark in black reading "Jonroth / Painted And Imported For / C.H.Thompson / Greensboro, Ind. / Germany". Above this is an unusually detailed explanation of how the tree, 15 feet in height, 4" thick trunk, appeared on the roof 45 years ago from the time plate was made, around 1910 or so.
Overall exellent condition, a very unusual subject matter.
